What's up with the short hair?

I had shoulder hair length during part of college. It was a pain. I had to use special shampoos and conditioners to keep it in shape (or it would start breaking off and looking like crap). I had to put it in a ponytail before going to bed or I would wake up with a my hair in knots. My hair took over an hour to dry.

Good point, I guess I was just trying to say a good looking man is more likely not to give a shit about what others think of him, because he already thinks he's King Shit. A good looking woman still wants the nice things, clothes, whatever and whatever hairstyle she thinks looks good. A man won't care about that, he'll just grunt and headbutt a door down.
 
1) Short hair is easier to take care of. I've never had super short hair, but when I've had hair no longer than my chin, it took way less time to dry and style. I grew my hair out so I could have a nice up-do at my wedding. It takes me at least 3X longer to dry it with a blow dryer, and half the time I don't even dry it all the way because I get tired of waiting for it to dry.

2) Short hair styled well can look very cute (contrary to your belief)

You complain so much about how you can't get a girl because you're so ugly and you can't become all macho or whatever because your body is not like that.

(All caps for emphasis) HAVE YOU EVER STOPPED TO THINK THAT MAYBE YOU CAN'T GET A GIRL BECAUSE YOU ARE SO JUDGMENTAL? You write like you are expecting some supermodel to fall madly in love with you. I've got news for you - the vast vast majority of girls are NOT supermodels! In fact, there are many attractive girls that aren't supermodels. I would even say that Trident, you're not unattractive. If you were kind and didn't judge a person based on how they look right off the bat - maybe she'd go out with you. I'm not saying you have to give the 500+ lb girl a chance. If you HONESTLY don't find a girl attractive, then fine. But I really don't believe that you find few girls attractive because I just don't think people are wired to find so few people attractive. What I believe is that you hide behind this persona that you will only go out with 10/10 girls because then you don't have to risk putting yourself out there and risk a girl saying no to you or going out with you for a while and then deciding to part ways. Now, I could be wrong. I'm not saying I know the real you. I only know what I have read of some of your posts.

But for the love of God, if you want to get some dates, work on improving yourself and the way you relate to others. This is a tech forum and it is stereotypically thought that girls don't want to date techy people because they are not a man's man (I know I am grossly overgeneralizing but stay with me people!). If you head over to L&R, you'll find that plenty of the members are in relationships or married. Heck, some of them have posted pictures of their SOs and they have very attractive wives! One member's wife even won a bikini contest. Now, I'm sure ATOT has plenty of attractive men, but I would bet that the reason why they continue to be in relationships has less to do with their looks and more to do with how they treat their wives.

I only hope that at least part of what I have said impacts you for the better. That is all.

TridenT has a lot of the same kind of problems I have except worse and he's more stubborn than I am in doing something about it. The fact that I can kinda relate is what bugs me so much about him.

I wouldn't dislike TridenT so much if we didn't have things in common. The stuff he bitches about I've been dealing with since middle school, and I still have friends, happiness and girls to woo.

The thing that pisses me off most about TridenT is that we are quite alike, and he just pussies out with excuses. Not only that, half his excuses would be a positive to most people. I think he's afraid to try and enjoy himself because he might actually get disappointed, instead of living in his disappointed world he controls.

I think dislike is too big a word for what I fell about TridenT, frustrated would be a better word. His posts make me roll my eyes, his rebuttals to advice make me beat my head against the wall. TridenT is one of the people I want to hang out with Washington, I think we could have a lot of fun. That is, if he stopped having an excuse for why he cannot have fun.

TridenT is my secret favorite poster on ATOT, he kind of feels like a Luke Skywalker, whiny as all shit with great potential. I just want to convince him Tashi station isn't all it's cracked up to be, and for him to just get on with his Jedi path.

Nah, it's really not the judgmental thing. It's the looks. Again, I've stated it over and over and over... Women tell me it's not the personality as much as it is the looks. Personality is great, but if there is no physical attraction... gg.

Similarly, I am not one to lower my standards because they are what they are. It's not a matter of level of attractiveness (Although that does exist), it's a matter of finding them attractive just instinctively. I've found attractive women, but they're few and far between. Most people are different than me because I am not people. I don't know if I have seen a single attractive female that a member of ATOT is dating/engaged/married/whatever.

bolded is why I usually hate short cuts the most. Girls start to look like tom boys and sometimes... boys. 😱 It's rare for it to work nice.
