What's up with the short hair?

Most of you really think that women don't care what I think of them. However, whenever I do end up talking to them about these types of things, they're not quick to rub it off as if my opinion does not matter.

Having long hair is a hot (temperature wise) and its a lot of work to maintain and to make look good every day.

That's because they can't take you seriously and laugh at you when you aren't looking.

You're doing it wrong..

Are you doing it? Long hair looks pretty (I won't turn it down), but when you get frisky you start inhaling hair, it's something to complain about, but a nice short haired woman with ears and neck to nimble is nothing to look down on. I think you need to have more sex and less sex fantasies.

Do all the girls you have sex with, that have long hair, just use obscene amounts of hairspray? Hair usually can be moved... :\

This thread is not about short hair vs long hair.. It's about women with long hair cutting to short. It's not a movement I am in support of. The majority of women CANNOT PULL OFF SHORT HAIR AND YET THEY TRY ANYWAY

Waist-length is a bit much... :\

Has it occurred to you that it's more important to women that THEY like how they look than whether YOU like how they look? Because I guarantee that is why every single woman in the world picks their clothes, hairstyle, makeup and jewelry. THEY want to look good and feel good when they glance in the mirror. It's about their self-esteem, not trying to pick you up.

Guys are the ones who dress with the thought, "will this get me a date?" See DJ Fuji's advice in L&R or the whole peacocking trend.

Yeah, ever stop to think it was up to them, and your opinion, as a man, is completely asinine?

I think I figured out why you're alone, you're not beautiful and you're not compassionate, work on one of the two and then post about stupid shit like this.

If a woman picked all her styling to convince herself that she looked good... (What a delusional person that must be) then she's probably not worth anything. It's like a huge fatty who goes in the mirror and is like, "Damn girl, you so thin and fine!" It ain't the truth and she is going to come home alone every night while people laugh at the delusional freak she is.

How is your question related to my post at all? :'( People, they be OT in OT!

I'm winning this thread so far.

Fine, all the girls I've had sex with have had longer hair, with no hairspray, it never stopped copulation. Even when they had some hairspray, it could be moved. It was more remarkable how long hair can get caught in your mouth and nose easily during passionate whoopy, and short hair can be an advantage. Seeing as I started as saying short hair can also be sexy, I don't see at all how short hair can be seen as bad on a woman.

Yes, you win this thread now win some life.

Uh, I think both sexes try to attract mates, and I'm pretty sure that women buy a lot more makeup, fragrances, etc than men do.

Oh, entirely agreed. But I think women in general will not put on something that makes them feel ill-dressed, even if they think it would attract the opposite sex, while men are more likely to shrug their shoulders and go with it. For women, feeling that they look attractive is more important while for me, attracting someone is more important. Not saying either gender is more looks-obsessed or shallow, just that the way they consider attractiveness is different.

Women feel better when they feel better about themselves; men feel better when others think better of them. This is a generalization, but I think it conveys the reality close enough.

Good looking men are more willing to look "rugged" and poorer looking women still try to look good.

Thank you for expressing my point more concisely than I was able to. 🙂

Go grow your hair shoulder length or longer, then come back and maybe you'd have some credibility.....well, as much as you could have.

Long hair is a drag to take care of....drying, etc. Most women hate long hair as its just a pain to take care of, your worthless opinion be damned.

You're doing it wrong..

You've obviously never slept with a woman. Try spooning a woman. You're gonna get hair in your face. You can move it out of the way to some degree, but its not going to go away from the back of her head.

QFT. When my hair gets 4-5 inches long it's a mess to take care of, I can't imagine having really long hair, hence why I keep it short.

Maybe. I personally have even less experience than TridenT in such matters so I don't want to sound like I've learned a great deal about the differences between men and women, but I know that there's a lot of self-confidence involved with men as well. That's what produces the stereotypical gym guy that spends as much time flexing in the mirror as he does working out.

I don't really understand your second point. Good looking men are more willing than what? Ruggedness is a general feature of manliness/strength that is generally preferred, just as the feminine ideal is in the other direction, promoting thinness and beauty. Each is promoted for the same reason, meeting the ideal appearance as expected from general society.
