Well I'm surprised someone here hasn't gone whining to the mods about someone hurting their feelings here. This board has become so PC, I'm surprised you are even aloud to create this thread?

In your situation, Chrono, I woulda just inched the car up a bit so our windows weren't matching anymore and I woulda turned my music higher for myself. If they decided I was challenging them or something, I'd just stare at them with a WTF look ... cause that's precisely what I'm thinking... "WTF are you doing ? Go away (insert favorite word here)."
The funny thing is that our cars weren't aligned next to each other. This guy was a few feet back from me actually. After I rolled up my windows, he drove up a bit, looked at his whomever, and yelled out his stupid comments.

I'm not using any stereotypes at all. This is from my own experience. Have you honestly seen a chinese/asian person walk up to people and "karate chop" them?
So you're saying that black people who "invented" the ebonics tone, don't use it?

i'm surprised the liberals were allowed to so totally dominate this thread.
face it people, idle casual comments like what he made is not RACISM, it's a persons OPINION.
Racism is burning people on crosses, denying people jobs, forcing people to drink from a different water fountain, forcing a group of people to sit in the back of the bus..
in our current antiseptic political enviroment and PC and all, we waste so much time discussing moronic incidents as racism that we seem to miss the REAL acts of racism that continue to happen.

thats a good point, but where do you think it starts?
actually, i'm half way serious.
EVERYTHING and ANYTHING is a stereotype these days. black people play basketball well. Asians do well in school. White people suck at math (oh wait, that is a stereotype)..
hehehehe. people just take this stereotyping too seriously. truth is all of us generalize and stereotype in life, THAT'S not what defines a racist, in my mind anyway.
what defines a racist is HOW they deal with people of other races in their real lives.
I say racist things about blacks, whites, yellows and reds but when it comes RIGHT down to it, i have friends of ALL colors and persuasions and the stereotype didn't prevent me from meeting or getting to know these people.

Point very well taken. Black people are generally good at sports because they are built more athletically from their genetic make-up. Asians generally do better in school because oftentimes, their parents encourage more studying and school work. I mean I can understand how people would view these as stereotypes but I see them more of as a positive result of social upbringing. As for white people sucking at math, I can't vouch for this one. The point I'm trying to make here is that stereotypes just perpetuate the negativity of specific races which eventually can lead to racism.

This is exactly why I say i'm a racist. It's because the dumbasses in the world are soooooo uptight about anything and everything. Am I discriminating when I call a guy black? yes... are you discriminating when you label someone african american because they'er black? yes... Most people are just too dumb to see that they are discriminating with every thought. In that sense everyone is a racist. But when you think of it that way.. there's actually nothing wrong with being a racist. You people need to relax a bit. damn racists.. =)
