What's the worst thing a girl has ever done to you?

I foolishly let her borrow $2k for school and I only got half back and she's not picking up my calls. Lesson learned.

If only you guys knew what my current GF has put me through in the last couple of weeks.....the best I can hope for now is just being a single father.....but I suspect it might get much worse.

What happened?

Married me...

Oh wait, worst thing? Sorry, I meant BEST thing...

(phew...that was close, she was reading over my shoulder) 😉

Probably the WORST thing was to steal all the stuff out of my apartment when I got thrown in jail. Everything...TV, stereo and record albums, furniture, EVERYTHING!
I did feel better when I saw her get booked into the same jail a couple of weeks later...charged with burglary and grand theft...

Worst? Hard to say. None of what's happened to me has been nearly as bad as most other stories posted here, but I'll contribute anyway:

Let's see, there was the girl who didn't talk to me for a few weeks, then got back to me over Yahoo Instant Messenger to tell me she's engaged. There was the girl who passed me over for another guy whom she told me she knew nothing was going to happen with anyway (and in fact nothing did happen). I had a girlfriend who gave me the silent treatment for nearly a week and then dumped me after telling her I had to go visit my parents (in another country) for Christmas. There was another girl who made me take a bus from city to city before making up a story that I had cheated on her and we were fighting so she could hide from me (WTF?). And then there was the girl in college who told me one of my friends had asked her out and she'd said yes (this was after she dumped her fiance). She eventually dumped him, then dropped out of college to live at her parents' backhouse with another friend of ours, they broke up a year ago, and she just got married to the newest guy in her life (who got her pregnant). I saw pics of the wedding, the groom wore black Converse with his tux.

What happened?

Mild Schitzophrenia + Major Depression (manic depressive) + post natal depression + low dose of medication + refusal to take meds at the best of times + refusal to seek help = bad times for Stumps and Emily....especially Emily.

I think most people should be able to put that together to figure out what is happening.

I'm sure I told this one before so I'll be brief, if you want details, PM me.

1). Met the girl in college
2). Fell in love *gag*
3). Dated for nearly 5 years, got engaged
4). Girl was cheating with another guy (told me he was a silly kid friend, like a brother)
5). Found out 6 months before graduation, had already turned down jobs from companies like Intel, HP, etc. to move to her country (New Zealand)
Girl had her friends cover for her lie, girl's sister unknowingly gave me timeline of events--pieced truth together
Girl used her best friend in the lie--told me girl was hooking up said guy with her best friend, when asked best friend knew of no such thing.
Girl mails back engagement ring in padded envelope with no insurance, delivery confirmation, nothing.
Girl never told me what happened even till this day, this was about 3 years ago.

I know it's not good to dwell on the past, but despite having learned a valuable lesson, it still hurts/angers me when I remember--that was almost 5 years of my life I'll never get back.

Told my friends I wasn't good in bed.

Was she fibbing, or are you just pissed the truth got out?

She hadn't enough experience to be judging. Barely teenagers, but apparently it made the rounds. I didn't get many dates afterwards till I switched high schools.

Cold. 🙁

Nothing bad has happened to me... yet. Just turned 20 and I've never dated a girl... (yes, by choice). I figure give them a bit of time to mature so I don't get griefed and torn apart like some people in this thread...

It's not like they're going to get much better.

As a general rule (for guys and girls), most people don't really seem to get out of the high school mindset. If you find someone who has, give it a real shot. If you find someone who hasn't, have fun, but try not to get too attached.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I like to think I'm more mature than most (I'm a guy), but I've definitely seen myself revert back far too often for my peace of mind. It is what it is though.

After reading the rice thread, I got to thinking how irrational and cruel girls somtimes are. What's your story?

And, on behalf of my gender, I apologize.

Let me love her I suppose.

Very cold indeed. Cripes.

The worst thing? I can't think of anything that out and out qualifies for that title; it's been a long time since I've been in a relationship so I'm not sure any of those carry the emotional sting that they would need to.

I've been cheated on explicitly, once, and cheated on emotionally another time. Life went on, funny how that goes? Funny how five and seven years change things, especially when one is so young.

With all that, I don't think I have anything to add to the discussion. I have some wonderful women in my life, family and friends, and they have supported me through thick and thin. I cannot resent women because of a few bad ones, because I have so many examples to the contrary.
