@ those who don't understand the phrase "If you ain't cheatin...you ain't tryin...", it is not trying to make a moral judgment call concerning cheating, it is only pointing out a trend that in the REAL world the people who cheat get further in life than those who don't. If you really think you are doing everything possible to succeed, but you are not cheating than in reality you are NOT doing everything possible. Now obviously many people will find it morally reprehensible to cheat, but the fact remains that you *could* be doing it to succeed even more. Also, I really am not sure some people understand how widespread "cheating" is in real life. If I were to take the 10 people with the highest GPAs in my high school class I would say only 2 did not cheat to obtain them. The 2nd highest GPA in my class was achieved by someone who cheat on pretty much everything imaginable. I know people who cheated on the SAT, AP tests, pretty much every project, and any other test where cheating was possible, lied on the college applications etc. Of all the people who did this only 1 ever got caught and all they got for it was a 0 on one project. In other words, if you don't wanna cheat thats fine, but ALOT of your competition WILL, so when they beat you out because of it it was because you didn't use every possible method at your disposal and they did. You might feel good about yourself for not cheating, but that doesn't change the fact that you could have gotten into a better college and gotten a better job if you had cheated.
Not saying that its morally right to cheat, it definitely is NOT, jsut saying life ain't fair and the peopel who get ahead are not always the ones who deserve it.
