Well...I don't eat weird stuff.

I guess the weirdest would be Dove. Of course, to me this isn't weird at all, but to some it might be.

Ate both of these while I was in China:

Sea Cucumber - it's very bland and rubbery. Not as rubbery as most squid, but similar. There's almost no flavor.

Sheep stomach - I actually loved it. It was cut into very thin strips, put on skewers, and then barbecued over open coals. Seasoned and covered in peanut sauce. A bit chewy, but delicious!

Also in China, I was at a restaurant with a large group of people and we ordered Beijing Roast Duck and when they brought it out, it was just a pile of sliced meat on a plate with the duck's head split open right next to it. Reach in with your chopsticks and pick out the brain. I was too chicken to try but my then-girlfriend did. She didn't like it though.

 story?
Hahaha, I was just kidding.

Though they do call falling on a skateboard or snowboard (or what-have-you) "eating shit', so I guess I have eaten it. :Q

A lot of the foods mentioned aren't really strange; rather, they're just not common in our culture.

Strange: pizza topped with peanut m&m's

I've eaten many a weird thing in China, sadly I don't know what they are called. Most of them were types of seafood.

Also, durian.

omg Durian smells like shit, how could you eat that stuff.

Indeed it does. My first time was also my last time :(

first time i smelled it i was pretty grossed out but
surprisingly, it tastes pretty decent, it has a creamy texture. should be served frozen IMO. being frozen gets rid of the smell too

Maybe it's just because I've been eating them since I was little (parents went to China before I was born; brought back a lot of the culture and appreciation for "weird" Chinese food), but I don't really understand why people think these are so extreme. I think they even had people eat them on Fear Factor one time (my dad watches the show).

They are aged in much the same way cheese is aged. Funny thing is, most Chinese people don't like cheese because they see it as gross rotten milk, but they'll eat 100 year old eggs any day.
