The guys name is Richard, but he introduced himself as "Dick Powers". I wondered if he is Austins brother.


I also had a Grandfather-in-law named Phil McKracken.

i used to work at a large corporation and used to go through the sysm (sort of like interoffice email) ids. we had lots of foreign programmers that had some weird names. i can't remember what any of them were now though.

hes a football player in the NFL im amazed you dont actually know who he is, when whatever team he plays for is playing they say his name on TV and i can help but laugh
 
During my stats class, the prof was talking about a formula and she went on to talk about the guy who created it. She said his name was Dickey Fuller, naturally I was the only who burst out in laughter as everyone shifted to look at me. It was quite embarrasing. 😛
 
Fabregas. Yes, the footballer (soccer for you americans).

The funniest thing is whenever they say his name (wel actually his last name) on TV, they pronounce it: Fabric - ass (actually more like Fabric - gas, but I like what i'm thinking 😉)

i know who you are talking about, and yes it is funny to hear the announcers say that especially in a british accent
 
The only one that comes to mind is a guy I knew in junior high who's name was Eric Shin.
I didn't notice why that's funny until you say the name fast and blur the first and last name together as one word.
 
I don't remember the first name but I once ran across the last name "Glasscock".

The weirdest name I ever heard was Trevor Buttrash.

Ok, so his last name wasn't actually Buttrash, it was Brash...but thats what everyone called him.

His younger brother was unfortunately refered to as "Buttrash Junior".
 
Got an email the other day at work from a guy named Richard Licht.

Also another one from a gal named Anita Mikita. Not really weird...just fun to say. 😛

Peter Eaton which was worse in school where they call names last, first so he was Eaton Peter

Un Yan
Phoc Hu
Richard (Dick) Bang
Allen Buttczeck (he tried to say it was pronounced Bewhcheck but everyone said Buttcheck anyway 😉 )
