This question came to mind since I'm heading to bed soon. I don't really see a point it. Since I use my bed nightly it's going to get messed up every night, so why bother making it? Pretty much only I see my bedroom so it's not like I have to make it presentable for someone else. Some of my friends see my room when they want to use my computer, but they don't care as to the neatness of my bed, and I don't see why friends would/should care at all whether your bed is made. I can see the point if you're bringing someone home, but then isn't that your desired destination, and isn't it going to be messed up soon anyways
? I asked my roommate why he made his bed, and he couldn't come up with a good reason besides force of habit since his parents made him do it when he was young. So, is there a valid reason to make your bed, or is it just a chore parents came up with? Hopefully someone will care to shed some light on the subject so I can have something to read over breakfast
