Very nice pick, and the nail remover might make a good blood runnel. Presuming they have body fluids, it would help with keeping a firm grip.

Nuclear Submarine.

Longevity: Nuclear power allows for years of continuous operation with low fuel requirements. 9/10
Effectiveness: It can kill zombies with its nuclear missiles as well as being in the ocean avoiding many zombies. 10/10
Portability: It drives itself around. 10/10
Messiness: Nuclear missiles can shoot long range allowing for clean zombie decimation as well as just diving and hiding from them. 10/10
Subtlety: Can dive and hide from zombies quite easily. 10/10
Utility: It is a floating and submersible city. It can do many useful things. 10/10

I have done my research and have determined that zombies cannot swim, but can float. So a sub would be a good defensive strategy. The problem would be running out of supplies. Technically a nuclear sub could generate its own fresh water and oxygen (via electrolysis and desalinization), but food would be an issue.

You'd be best using it as a means of transport between remote islands, where you could hunt and gather plants.

I'm sure we could take a fishing pole on board and surface to catch and thus cook the fish.
