Number of The Beast, by Robert A. Heinlein

One of my top ten all time favorite books. I've read that one at least 5 times.

I'll have to reread it once I finish the complete set of Hitchhiker's Guid to the Galaxy. The first time I read it was in high school (10th or 11th), and I got really lost in the last few chapters because Heinlein started referencing stuff I didn't understand, like other books and such.

Yeah, I still don't get all of the references, but enjoy it nonetheless.

Almost anything by Clive Barker. That guy is one sick and twisted homosexual. And his books reflect that, but for some reason, I just really like it. I can recommend the "Books of Blood", all of them. I think Sacrament was one of the weirdest books I read by him

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski

excelent book, but w:Qw can you say tormented?
I was just coming here to post that. It wins, hands down. Such a strange book, but I loved it. I can't say I "got" it, but damn if it wasn't fun to read.

Did you know that he's the musical artist Poe's brother? A lot of her album "Haunted" is based off the book, including the somewhat popular "Hey Pretty."
