Just ate. Eating again in 5 more hours. I don't eat breakfast, so I'm food free between 8PM to 1PM everyday.

Freshly squeezed 100% juice.
Heh, I'm surprised there was no mention about finding the 60 lbs of feces in Elvis' colon, which I saw on another website.

Try it, it won't be fun. You can't fix years of bodily abuse in three days of different bodily abuse.

Obviously you start off slow and build your way up.
If this experience is positive, a few months later I'll do 5 days, etc.

I fasted for 4 1/2 days about a year and a half ago. I was planning on ten, but just got sick of not eating (not the same thing as being hungry, exactly, believe it or not). I drank the "Master Cleanser" (Google it), as well as some laxative teas.

I can't say I noticed any particular cleansing effect, but then I'm not always especially attuned to these things. I didn't get sick or experience any health problems whatsoever.

What does it cleanse the body of? What is in there that should not be, that will be gone after 3 days of juice and water?

I remember reading about some people who were fed with tubes (no schiavo jokes please) and although they had ample food they also got sick of not having the experience of eating.

I like the feeling of fasting for a few days. I go for about three days once every month with only water. When you eat signifigantly less your body uses much more of what you do ingest(80% vs. -50%). Then again I've always done this and never weighed over 140lb. at 5'9". Anyway, I say go for it.

I made it 120hrs ingesting nothing but distilled water. The reason: a mental test. It takes a fair amount of will to deny yourself the most basic biological necessity. It gets marginally easier after day three, though it isn't fun by any means. I'm certain this wasn't healthy, but after I was back eating again, I felt pretty swell and a little proud of myself for the ordeal

Be smart when you break the fast. After days without eating, everything sounds friggin' delicious. Wean yourself on to food with something easily digested in small amounts. I've done this fast three times. the first time I ended the no-food period with a piece of cheese pizza - a bad idea. The second time I ended it by drinking a few pints of Guiness - another bad idea. The last time was broken with a few saltines followed by some rice and oatmeal later in the day. I feel that was the most successful fast and didn't feel like a turd for a whole day.

Good luck

It would take over two and a half million bowls of your oat bran cereal to equal the fiber content of one bowl of Super Colon Blow.

I hope you consulted your doctor before going on this fast, otherwise, you can get really really ill in the long-run.

That being said, why don't you just get a collonic instead?

Pfft.

A 2-week fast, or maybe even one week might get a phone call to the doctor. 3 days? No way.

i miss lunch alot at work. i also never eat breakfast. its pretty much a mini fast everyday. from 7pm to 7pm. not that great i tell ya.

I've gone a week, but it was just because I never got hungry, and when I did, I was too lazy to get something to eat. After a few days my body starts to shut down the hunger sensors and I don't feel hungry, much like getting a second wind when going without sleep.

I doubt I've ever went a day without food. Not something I'd think of doing.

Welp, time to fire up those burgers on the barbie... g/l OP.

once a year, for religious reasons, i go 25 hours (7 pm until 8 pm the next day) and I BE HUNGRY

gotta do what you gotta do though

Not necessarily. He could actually be pudgy for all we know. Breakfast is very important and when you don't eat till lunch your body will go into "starvation mode" and eliminate muscle which consumes the most calories and save fat for energy later. Or he could be "trim" with low muscle mass.
