Central Indiana to Charleston, SC and back (1999).

Central Indiana to Brunswick, GA and back (2001).

Central Indiana to New Orleans, LA and back (2002).

All 3 completed in spans of 38 hours (Friday 7pm - Sunday 9am). Dang I miss college. :)

Atlanta to Boston. I think it was eighteen hours nonstop. We made some stops on the return trip, though.

Longest drive I made was from Phoenix, AZ to Bethesda, MD (yup, in Montgomery County right next to all those shootings) by myself in 3 days. About 2400 miles. But it wasn't a road trip per se since I was coming back to go to college.

Road trip purposes, would be Blacksburg, VA (Go Hokies!) to New Orleans, LA (Sugar Bowl 2000 w00t!). Don't remember how far it was. But it was about a 14 hour drive.

Deepinthehearta, Texas to South Dakota... quite a bit of driving around while I was there. All told, about 4000 miles.

Longest oneway trip with no stopping (except for food and bathroom): San Diego to Gettysburg, PA -2621 miles

Longest round trip was 5100 miles in just over 5 days (the rental car place was pissed when we returned the car w/that many more miles!:p).

as a kid, two parents and five kids piled into a econovan for a trip from baton rouge to washington dc. i've also done baton rouge to winter park, colorado; baton rouge to south bend, indiana.

Also baton rouge to atlanta georgia with a standard transy ford ranger and a 5-month pregnant fiancee. That trip took much longer than implied.

Santa Cruz, California > West Palm Beach, FL > New York, New York > Santa Cruz, California.

I beleive it was about 8,000 miles the whole way. The most I did in one day was about 15 hours. Boulder, CO, to some little town in Kentucky between St. Louis and Nashville, where I stopped for the night.
