For me, it was 106. I stayed in 104 for a couple of days and honestly tylonal and aspirin probably saved my life that week. My family thinks I had west nile as it was the season and I was working around an area where I got bit by mosquitoes fairly frequently.

So wheres your limit? Remember that 106 is freaking high when you post :p

You must have been young with 106, otherwise you'd be dead.

104 I think mine was when I was at school. Told mom (who was a doctor) and she had an ambulance there in 10 minutes. Wasn't concerned about the fever as I should have been...was more concerned with me falling over and total loss of balance. DUH! That was the fever doing that.

Woot, The first liar adds to the poll! (110 = dead for any wondering, almost without exception, 106 = near dead)

Moms a nurse, it was actually only last year (22). So yeah, I really am lucky not to be dead.

I was at 106 at the age of maybe 11 or 12. My dad put me in a -COLD- (jesus it was fucking cold) water bath for 45min or so. I came out at 102 or so.

edit: I was pretty unhappy about it at the time, since you know staying home from school was usually an occasion to play games and watch TV. But looking back, yeah it's a good thing he had more sense than me.

Not really, you are young. It's extremely concerning for sure but not as life threatening as it would be to somebody in their late 20s and above.

That explains the brain damage. It was probably boiling, what a shame.

I got sick alot back in elementary and middle school and seem to built up immunity to many. Now I rarely get sick or the flu. I was around 3 people with the flu last X-mas Eve and Christmas, didn't get a single fever.

Isn't 106 brain damage territory?
Highest I ever had was 103.5ish, got it when I was about 14 and the family was camping. So not the best time to get sick. :( That's the year we started using frozen veggies instead of ice packs. (You can eat the veggies after you are done using them to cool down! and they last longer than ice.)
