$100.

Well unless you count getting duped into buying a mini-disk player when I was 15. They were supposed to be the future. FUCK YOU SONY.

$40 but going to get it back soon with refute by CC company.

Oh, I lent $150 to a guy in highschool and never saw it, but never really expected to, either.
Unfortunately PayPal was absolutely no help in getting the funds back.
This recently was with paypal, too. They are useless. Found for my favor, but the seller's account and bank account are empty, so instead my credit card company will refund and take it from paypal.

IMO, paying with a paypal balance is a BAD IDEA. You essentially have no protection.

My dad bought a laserdisc player, lol

~$19,000 for a 2006 Civic LX. What a piece of junk it turned out to be. (Actually it was a love/hate/hate/hate/like/hate relationship.)

$400.

I bought speakers from those dudes that would drive around in a white van trying to pawn off "extra shipments of $3500 speakers".

My checking account had 8 dollars after I took out the money to pay them. 🙁

900 bucks

bought a tow dolly and didnt notice the fricken axle was bent until we left for a road trip towing my car with the motorhome and blew 3 damn tires on the dolly. had no way of proving that the guy sold me a fucked up dolly and that i didnt hit something with it myself, so i had to eat it and just scrapped it.

About 60.00. I was drinking at the bar and well, I should have had supervision.
An ex bf of mine and his brother fell for the "Rockefeller" scam. They lost about 8k total.

about $12 i purchased a "childs chair" on ebay and they gave me a size and cost of shippin (wich was $12). when i got the chair it was much smaller then they claim and shipping was $4. so i figure between the two i was out about $12.
