What's the first gun you have ever shot?

I was about nine and it was a British Infielder rifle firing armor piercing shells.

My Dad had a .22 Ruger handgun. I think I remember it being a six shot revolver.
I was probably around 8 when he taught me how to shoot.

Other than BB guns, it was a 44 Magnum in college at the range (my dad didn't own guns). Damn near killed me; it jammed or something on about the 4th or 5th shot. My friend, who owned the gun, said it was fine and to keep shooting it. I didn't feel it was working right, so he took a look at it, and said it probably would have exploded if I had shot it.

I'm going to call shens on this. What type of gun was it?

Did it look like this?

same. had a bunch of different ones. then eventually i shot a .22, a 12-gauge, and another one of my Dad's rifles. now he has a beautiful Browning semi-automatic .22 rifle with a scope on it. i wouldn't mind getting one of my own now actually. even something used. i miss shooting. growing up, it was either dirt bikes or BB/pellet guns.

.50 desert eagle on tripod. put bullseye on thick tree in backyard. bullet went thru tree.

beretta 92sf (aka standard army issue 9mm) @ gun range. damn that thing is surprisingly accurate at 25yards.

old "cap" gun

used a roll of red paper with little bits of gunpowder,
it looked like an old "Cowboy gun"

LOL they made a Lot of noise, and myself and about 10 other kids would
drive the neighbors nuts on a warm Saturday.

For a "real gun" a 22 bolt action, when I was 11 years old at BoyScout summer camp.
🙂
I was a good shot too. 🙂

7 yo or so so 1977 ..Daisy pump style BB gun.. you could pump this bitch until it was so strong it would take eyes out.

Probably my dad's Pellet Gun. CO2 powered.

After that it might have been his 22 which was supposed to by semi-automatic but had something wrong with it and woudl shoot like 4 shots off in a row. Kind of like semi-fully automatic.
