What's the first 8 Track you ever owned?

I know it was a beach boys album, but not sure which one. Hey, I was like 7 yrs. old at the time, what did I know about music?!

We had a few 8 tracks. We had some instrumentals and I remember the Grease soundtrack too. 🙂 Heehee

*Sings "Hoplessly devoted to you"*

Come on Viper....you know what you really want to say...

You should look for a job as an interpreter.

😉

Viper GTS

The Tommy soundtrack.

(for the younger ones out there, that's Tommy by the Who, not Tommy Boy by Chris Farley 😉 )

Cheech and Chong's "Up in smoke"

either that or something by Creedance Clearwater

not sure when..they were both second or third hand..

I once attempted to resurrect my parents' 8-track.
I found with it a few original tapes and a number of Pennsauken Mart bootlegs.
The ones I remember:
Cat Steven's Greatest hits (not a bootleg)
some comedy bootleg that had George Carlin's words you can't say on TV skit and a few other comedy songs.

REO Speedwagon.................."You Can Tune A Piano..........But You Can't Tune a fish"..............

Or something along those lines....can't recall if the spelling is correct or not.......😉

Styx..........Equinox...........

8 tracks thats new stuff. I was talking to a friend of mine at the Autorama in Sacramento and I asked him if he still had the 4 tracks. He said yes and he had it out a couple of weeks ago and everything still works fine.

You just got to love that Muntz 4 Track!

Now who is old? 😀

Hmm, don't remember which was my first but 8 Tracks I remember having:

Beatles
Beach Boys
Electric Light Orchestra

and, since glenn admits to owning The Carpenters,

Shaun Cassidy 🙂
