i never actually owned any 8 tracks...i'm too young. but i do remember listening to two all the time in my dad's '68 SS427. those were, Gary Puckett and Eddie Rabbit. not sure which album titles though.
Old enough to remeber Sid and Marty Croft's Saterday Super Stars.
LidsVille
HnR Puff n Stuff
Electro Woman and DYna Girl
Island of Dr. Shrinker
etc.............
I once attempted to resurrect my parents' 8-track.
I found with it a few original tapes and a number of Pennsauken Mart bootlegs.
The ones I remember:
Cat Steven's Greatest hits (not a bootleg)
some comedy bootleg that had George Carlin's words you can't say on TV skit and a few other comedy songs.
8 tracks thats new stuff. I was talking to a friend of mine at the Autorama in Sacramento and I asked him if he still had the 4 tracks. He said yes and he had it out a couple of weeks ago and everything still works fine.
