Once I pulled over he beamed over a ticket and told me to take it easy and steer clear of the neutral zone.

Next time I'll keep my transphasic shields up.

YOU ASSHOLE!

DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT RUNNING AT WARP 9 IS DOING?

YOU'RE GOING TO TEAR APART THE GALAXY!

Yeah, but not from me.

Personally I got clocked at 206 in a 30 (that is mph). I was in my McClaren F1. Cop let me off with a warning.
I didn't know Nissan made a McClaren ;)

It's called a McNissan. :p

Drove from Phoenix to San Jose, averaged 120 except in the cities. On my way back, I decided to take I-40 rather than going thru LA. I got pulled over just outside Barstow and cited for 104 in a 70. The CHP officer said I had slowed down consiterably when he got up the ramp to clock me. Luckily, I had my wife's 70 something year old grandma asleep in the back seat, saved me from going to jail. My wife worked for a law firm at the time, and got the lawyer to represent me in a hearing over the phone. Got it plea'd down from something like reckless endangerment to speeding, paid a $350 fine (instead of $1200), and went to trafic school (which I had to do anyways for a ticket I got in AZ).

No, I wasn't in trouble.

Back in 2k I got together with a few other riders, one of which was a NH state trooper and went to a closed road he knew of and we did top end runs. He had a radar gun to verify speed.

Highest ticketed speed? 85 in a 65 mph zone, ironically also in NH.

how do you manage to sit down with testicles so large
Every once in a while you read something that actually makes you L O L.

This makes me wonder what my truck would do. I don't have any strips in town to test at.

My truck weighs almost 2000 lbs more than a Tacoma does and I'm pulling 13.15's.

Not super great by any means, but it's NA with no Turbo so I find that to be pretty solid.

The beauty of a governor.

I just picked up a Hypertech and modded mine to 128 (tires are "H" rated).

Fastest I've gotten caught at was 83 in a 65... I was the slowest frickin' car on the road too, damn state troopers. He even said "I could have pulled anyone over, I just chose to pick on you today."

I was almost like "Really, you sheet-head, just because I was 20 over, you could actually catch up to me, and not 40 over like everyone else?"

Fastest I've driven is 140ish in a Porsche 911, that was a frickin' rush.

160mph in a 35mph, not clocked on that one! Driving '75 Firebird that had just been overhauled (tested new rear end).
about 110mph in a 55mph in my Avalanche, not clocked just wanted to see what it would do!

Ticket was 78 in a 55, got it knocked down to 74 in a 55 because I was nice! First, Last and Only Ticket! That was in My Silverado!

Haven't got a ticket for speeding yet (after 4 years of driving woot), although I have gone 85 in a 65 (mph) a couple of times.

Fastest I ever went, and got ticketed for speeding (tho not for as fast as I was going) was back in 86, driving across the San Rafael bridge, from Point Richmond toward San Rafael. It was half past midnight on a Sunday morning, the highway was EMPTY......or so I thought! I paid the toll to cross the bridge, and smoothly accelerated from the toll booth area. For whatever reason, I decided after maybe 15 seconds that I needed to punch the accelerator (chalk it up to being 25 and driving a sports car).
For those that have never been on the San Rafael bridge, it's shaped like a stretched out upside down W, with two peaks for shipping to go underneath the bridge. I kept the car floored all the way up the first rise, over the top, and down the first decline, when I let off the gas completely. I coasted up the 2nd (short) rise, and as I hit the top, the speedometer finally came off the peg (my Camaro had an 85 mph speedometer, with a trip odometer, the reset for which kept the needle from going anywhere past it.....I figure the trip odometer reset was ~100mph). I figure I was probably going between 110 and 120 at one point, but have no way to prove it with the speedo.
As I was coming down the 2nd decline (coincidentally, right toward the exit for the San Quentin prison!!), close to the bottom, a set of bright headlights comes flying over the top of the bridge behind me. Believe me, I'd kept an eye in my rear view mirrors, and there'd been no headlights showing, so I'm betting that CHP car was running without 'em. Right after he came over the top of the rise, probably as he noticed I'd slowed down, he flipped on his red blinky light to pull me over. I made certain to pull over AFTER the prison exit!!

When he came up to my car, he first asked "Where's the fire??" (don't ya hate smartass cops?), to which I replied, "Fire??" (yeah, I know.....witty!! ). He mumbled something about me being in a hurry, there must have been a fire, to which I pretty much gave him a whatever look.
He then asked me if I knew why he'd pulled me over, and I said no......he said it's because I'd been speeding while crossing the bridge (a 55mph zone at that time). He then asked me if I knew how fast I'd been going?? Yeah........dumb question lesson from a Chippy!

I responded (since I knew I was getting a ticket anyways, "The more important question is, do YOU know how fast I was going???" He then explained that they'd clocked me with their speedometer all the way up to 70, and knew I was going much faster than that, but couldn't write me a ticket for more than that. When the cop got back to my car with the ticket for me to sign, he'd written it as a 70+ in a 55 zone! Yeah, okay. I figure he thought I'd be less inclined to fight the ticket with that one there. No biggy, think the fine was ~$150 or so. Well worth it for the speed I got up to! :D

Why didn't you just say M? You do ralize an upside down W is an M right?

Also, you are one bad ass for being smart w/ the cop and thinking you are the man for thinking it was worth $150 to speed for a few seconds. Bravo.
