Scariest ****** I ever did was 100+ on a tricked out cycle. To scared to look at the speedo. It could do 50-60MPH in first gear. Car wise Ive experienced about 200MPH on a track (I wasnt driving). My currnt vehicle tops at probably 130MPH but I dont trust it over 100. Only time Ill speed is when its out in hickass nowhere...like driving to nevada.

120mph to top out 4th gear in my 98 Acura Integra GSR.
I was going to shift into 5th and go higher, but my exit came up pretty fast.

About 130 in one of my old cars.

Over 160 on my friend's ZX-12R, Mine topped out at about 144 (Yamaha Fazer - The orginal 86 FZX Mini -Vmax)

Here's the kicker...

127MPH on water in a V-hull. I have never been more freaked out, scared in my life. Anything approaching 95 on water in a v-hull is just plain stupid fast for that environment.

On the other hand, I've been over 100 in a catamaran, and it was super smooth in comparison.

~145 in the GTO, Ran out of room at that point. I had another chace and could have pushed it further but up above 130 things start moving really really quick.

Approximately 170 in an '83 Bonneville Brougham, estimating based on it taking just over 2 hours to go 330 miles mostly on cruise control except a few spots with traffic.
The chain that the cruise control uses to pull down the gas pedal broke during this, replaced it with rubber bands.

134 in a Ford Escort, this was my cheapest ticket ever. Ohio is apparently the place to get them.

Almost 150 on my old v65. A gust of wind caught me and I tasted death. Ive never ridden that fast again.

Fasted Ive ever gone in a car was like 130 in an old thunderbird surprisingly enough. The freakin thing just walked at 120.

Floating down the highway at ~160+ with no control.

A highly modified 1974 455SD TransAM with really odd 2.73 gearing and NOS

It was a rented Chrysler Sebring, 110mph on the highway going North into San Francisco. I think it's 101. It's the one that ends abruptly with a sharp right turn and a stop light. :Q

I just got a new toy: 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT. Once I get a few thousand break-in miles, it will be spring again!

For the record, US speedometers are terribly inaccurate. The faster you drive, the hotter it reads. Germany mandates nearly perfect spedometers.
