140 in a 1970 Olds Cutlass - the thing was pretty built up. It still had a bit left but ran out of road. The car rode so smooth and quiet for being so fast that the sensation of speed was quite subdued. Ah those days on the Lake Ontario State Parkway - smooth 2 lane concrete in both directions.*sniff*

About 2 weeks later the bottom end just gave it up (crankshaft bearing) going 45 on a main road on my way to Buffalo. Blue smoke everywhere, chug-chug-chugging. I ended up selling it for parts.

I had a Mazda RX-3 after that and that thing going 105 was a little bit more hairy.

135 MPH in my Altima on an empty stretch of highway; I was the driver and only one in the car. Surprisingly, it held onto the road pretty well. I got pulled over shortly for doing 91 in a 70 :evil:

110-120 in an Audi R8. That thing was epic, it did it so easy, with so much left on tap, unfortunate there was a corner coming, and believe it or not you need to slow down a bit to corner in that thing
