i did some research regarding that cat/dog thing. one of the restaurants around me, i was told, by a reliable source, again i was told this, was serving cat and got busted by the health dept. i looked at the healt dept website and found that they didn't get busted for cats, but had a rat problem where they found rat feces and part of a banana that had obvisouly been eaten by a rodent. i am assuming that the person heard this from another person who might have exaggerated the story. i wonder if the chinese restaurant ever got revenge on a rat? i want to know how they get those really small ribs....

this is just my theory on the msg -> maybe chinese restaurants use more than other restaurants because they server a lot of vegetables and such. some people might be a little more sensitive to msg than others and one person might have a problem with msg. tolerance varies in everyone. i know that certain restaurants i will get a headache from and i don't think it is coincidence, maybe they just use a little more msg and i am a little more sensitive than joe public. who knows.
