Grey Goose is the best I've had.

Absolut is not that good (it's all marketing), and no way a good deal for the money.

Svedka is by far the best deal.

The best vodka would be ukrainian pepper vodka, with little red peppers inside the bottle. You see one in States, you let me know where, ok?;)

I've tried Svedka and its actually good. Interesting flavor to it and I'd say better tasting than anything in its price range. Ketel One is a little more expensive, but its another great vodka. If cost is no object, than Grey Goose, Belvedere, Chopin are awesome vodkas. I've heard good things about iceburg, have yet to try it.

monopolowa, $10 /750ml at trader joes. Very nice potato vodka indeed, tastes as good as the pricier vodkas I've had.

Cheers to Bryophyte, he called it on the first post and it seemed so unpronouncable I breezed right by it. :D

Woohoo! I win!

Damn, I miss being in a state where I can buy hard alcohol in grocery stores. With liquor stores few and far between, they can charge whatever they want here.

Maybe because you're drinking your liquor out of a box? :D

:D - drunk off box liquor and drunk off $10 drinks = all the same

one is cheaper than the other

Fast and cheap, screw vodka, go with Everclear. For pure taste, go with Vox or Belvadere! :)

All this Vodka talk and no one has mentioned Smirnoff vodka. Smirnoff now has twist versions, Raspberry, cherry and lemon. I still like Smirnoff original the best.

Best I've ever had was Tanqueray vodka. So so smooth.

I talked to the owner of my local liqour store and he suggested Svedka. He said it was made by the same people that made Absolut and was basically the same but much cheaper since it didn't have all the marketing cost. I also tried another called Viking Fjord that I thought was pretty good. Anyone ever heard of that one?

May I reccomend Stolichnaya Limonnaya.

Imagine spending a warm spring morning out in a green field relaxing in a hammock under a lemon tree. The soft gurgle of a cool stream nearby murmurs in the background. Now imagine that two dainty Russian fairies are delivering the cool stream water to your tongue, as two other dainty fairies proceed to carefully slice and squeeze warm, crisp lemon juice into your mouth. This, my friends, would describe the effects of Stolichnaya Limonnaya to the Tee.

I only recently discovered original Stoli a few months ago, and have been a pleased and consistent buyer since. To commemorate the beginning of another college semester(and the women that come with it), my close pals and I decided to branch out and divulge in the flavored bottle we had looked pass so many times before. We bought the Stoli Limon and allowed it to chill for 24 hours. Little did we know what was to come.

When I reached into my freezer at 11:00 p.m. the following night, I grabbed a frosty, seemingly snow covered bottle. Instantly I was whisked away into the frigid mountains of Russia. As I poured the glacial liquid into my glass, the scent of a thousand lemons thrust upward into my mucus membranes. I was then immediately removed from the mountains and placed in the hammock in the field I described before. Though I am a heavy drinker, it seemed to only take a few sips before I began to feel slightly inebriated. It was as if a lemony hug was making its way into my heart, and then throughout my bloodstream. Needless to say, it turned out to be a very rewarding night.

Stolichnaya Limonnaya is smooth...very smooth. By far the smoothest flavored vodka that I have ever tasted. However,I must say that the lemon does give it a minuscule bite that original Stoli does not have. That is to be expected with any flavored vodka, possibly due to processing the added ingredients. It takes nothing away from the experience that is Stoli Limon. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a reminder about the joy of life. I tip my hat and raise my glass,-once again-, to my Russian friends.

Please remember to drink Stolichnaya Limonnaya in a safe place; Preferably in the arms of someone sexy.

Buy a gallon jug of milk(square ones are best). After you empty it, cut out the top, add water, and freeze a bottle of vodka in the middle of it.

Great for parties.
