What's the best live concert you've seen ?

Lets see, there have been to many. The last good concert was Woodstock '99 (missed the first one). Before that Clapton (twice), Jefferson Airplane (twice), The Dead, Beach Boys, And the Guess Who. Almost forgot ELP. Those are the ones that stick out in my mind right now. I'll think of others later.

<< Sir Fredrick

I have seen BNL live 3 or 4 times, they are one of the best live acts going!!! One word........Personality!!

I agree! I'm still not sure why the show was only $2. Might've been because it was spoiled by Enrique Englacias (sp?) and Christina Agulera (or some other lousy pop princess). Fortunately, Christina Agulera was sick and enrique only did a couple songs. Yay!

1st: The Allman Brothers at the Louisville Motor Speedway in Louisville, KY - summer of 2002
2nd: Southern Rock Allstars - Parking lot of the Bashford Manor mall in Louisville, KY - summer of 2001
3rd: Molly Hatchet - Cherokee Survivor Fest, Cherokee, NC - Fall 2001

All of 'em were great shows, especially the 3 hour show from the Allman Brothers!

Any one the the 26 Dead shows 🙂

Been to a Grateful dead concert. The crowd was the real attraction. 🙂

BEST concert was the Allman Bros. in the "good old days" Was a great time

Iron Maiden - 21 March 2002 Brixton Academy London

Every concert I go to is my favourite until the next one. I love heavy metal so much, and love live music. So previous favourite concerts are:

Machine Head - 8 December 2001 Brixton Academy London
Ozzfest - 25 May 2001 Milton Keynes Bowl
Alice Cooper - 20 May 2001 NEC Arena Birmingham
Iron Maiden - 5 January 2001 Shepherds Bush Empire London
Iron Maiden - 4 November 2000 NEC Arena Birmingham
Iron Maiden - 16 June 2000 Earls Court London
Mahine Head - 14 December 1999 Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Metallica - 10 July 1999 Milton Keynes Bowl
Motorhead - 14 October 1998 Cambridge Corn Exchange
Machine Head - 12 December 1997 Wolverhampton Civic Hall

First concert was easily my best, the 1992 grateful dead/steve miller concert at soldier field. Jerry's last show. I was only 12, going to grateful dead concerts tripping! 🙂 My mom was so proud of me! 😀

<< I would have to say the Counting Crows & Live Concert that I went to on October 23rd 2000. Tis was great! >>

I know...I was there.
Also DMB in Riverfront @ Nashville in 1995...AWESOME show. Most DMB shows I've seen were really good cause they put a lot of heart into the music everytime they play it.
Live on Feb 4, 2000 @ Hershey Park (I've never heard pillar of davidson quite like that before...especially not from the 7th row)
Foo Fighters/Red Hot Chili Peppers concert from Chattanooga, TN (David Grohl made the night...he stole the show before the peppers ever hit the stage)
MB20, Everclear, and Lifehouse in Nashville April 14, 2001.....(5th row center stage...awesome)
Any Jump, Little Children concert....I'll be at their show in Asheville, NC this coming Thursday! THEY ROCK!

<< No Doubt 🙂 >>

ohtwell - where did you see them?

I just saw No Doubt at the Paramount in Seattle, they were amazing. Aside from them, Kid Rock was good in concert, so was Third Day (Christian band).
>>

I saw them at the Oak Mountain Ampitheater in Alabama in 1997.

Well, unless you count where once I went to a thing hosted by a local radio station, I've never been to a concert. Living in the middle of nowhere has definite downsides.
