I'm just looking for a client.

I had tried BulletProof before, but was wondering what else was out there.

SmartFTP for client. :)

Bulletproof worked fine for me, for FTP server. Simple stuff, but very functional.

NOT SmartFTP. SmartFTP is a peice of sh!t. It has so many stupid bugs, I don't give a crap if it's free.

Clientwise - CuteFTP for more advanced users, but SmartFTP does pretty much everything I want.
Server - You can beat Serv-u for features and ease of use :)

I use smartftp because it's what I have. I've tried cuteftp as well, and it did what I needed it to do. Then again, I don't use ftp for much beyond uploading files to webservers.
