Whats the best free virus program these days?

Yeah it looks like AVG is still free, just a bit harder to find on their site.

I haven't used it but I hear that AntiVir is good.
 
AVG is still free. I recommend that or AntiVir (which I use). AntiVir has a better detection rate then AVG, but this may be because AVG does not pick up many trojans.
 
It's not free forever, but for one year you can get eTrust Antivirus for free. I upgraded to this from AVG last year and I'm glad I did.
 
bleh why bother with an antivirus? i've been virus free for over five years ever since i stopped messing with exe files from kazaa.. its not hard to watch what you open.
