Not sporty, not fast, just plain old lazy plug your foot to the pedal, steer between the white lines, turn up the radio and enjoy the scenery long-distance cruiser.
IMO, for me it's my dad's '88 GMC Van. Nice audio, nice interior, plenty of power, enough mass to create a 'bubble' through which no other driver is really willing to penetrate (in dad's words "Driving a big van is so much better than driving a truck. Instead of 'that guy's gonna hit me!' everyone else is thinking 'that sunnuvabitch is gonna KILL me!'"), has room in the back to crash, power windows (yes, I still consider these a luxury, you lazy pricks), dash lighting isn't overbearing at night, etc. My only gripe with it is that there's really no place to put your left foot, since the pedals are jammed in a tiny strip of space between the engine and the front wheel well. So either you uncomfortably tuck it under you, you uncomfortably sit it on top of the wheel well, or you sissy-foot it. Other thoughts?
