Poland Spring or Fiji

EDIT: On second thought, I'm ok with pretty much any brand of bottled water so long as there is no aftertaste from the plastic.

Fiji is good, but wicked expensive

I like whatever I can buy in bulk (usually poland spring or BJ's brand)
Tastes pretty much the same to me though...

Fiji. It has absolutely no taste, which is perfect.

I need to find a place to get Fiji in bulk. Any ideas?
They don't have them at Sam's Club.

What kind of bottled water?

actually i like th walmart brand stuff. its just tap water ran through a RO system. so it taste good. BUT the main reason is its so much cheaper then any other bottled water.

when i lived in town (dekalb il) the water out of the tap sucked. the town has been sued 3 times in the last 15 years about it. the water is so bad people were being adviced to get either a RO system or buy bottled water.

now i live in the country and have a well. the water is good enough out of the tap. but we have a RO system (previous owners put it in).

Tapwater. Seriously. Bottled water is for stupid people with things to waste their money on. I wish I could be so stupid to waste my money on things like bottled water :(.

not true. in some areas it is suggested to buy bottled water. now i do agree someone buying a $3 bottle water is a little nuts.

Oh yea, I'm going to drink from the tap where the source of water comes from the Hudson River.

I don't know, from my experience tap water tastes nasty in certain places (even with a filter on).

I would agree with you if you live in a place with decent tapwater. When I was living in Brooklyn, I didn't mind drinking the tapwater. NYC overall has very good tapwater, which means it doesn't have any taste and the overall consistency of the water is as it should be. In the suburbs where I'm living now, I absolutely can't stand the tap water. It has a nasty type of taste and I'm pretty sure (if I remember from a report correctly) that it has higher numbers of toxic chemicals like heavy metals, though it's still within the "safe" range. I'm not sure whether the addition of fluoride to NYC's tap water is a good thing, though.

Kirkland, I think that's what the Costco water is called right? That's the best bottled water.

But that was when I lived in Phoenix, somehow southern CA water tastes good enough that I don't buy bottled water anymore

Can you taste the fluoride? I'm not sure if I've tried it. It's beneficial to your teeth isn't it?

No, can't taste it. It does help prevent tooth decay, from what I hear, but I've read conflicting articles on whether there are any side effects to adding fluoride, since fluoride is toxic.

I buy a case of Poland Spring at Costco about once a month to drink when I'm on the road.

The best bottled water I've had is called Volvic, but its way over-priced so I rarely get it.

Eh, pretty much everything is toxic if you consume too much of it, even *gasp!* water. ;)

Lol, good point. Even the purest water on earth can kill you if you drink too much (water intoxication/hyperhydration which is a problem for athletes more than everyone else).
