i hadn't realized how much pager codes ripped from "l33t" speak. Using pager codes you can leave messages using strictly numbers, but it just hit me where that came from. It seems that the number-letter conversions are straight from the l33t speak. Speaking of which, the AlTeRnATiNg LeTtErs thing is the new lame way to be "asian," at least for southern california. It's almost as bad as the rice rockets....you know...those honda civics owners that "fix up" their car "for racing." Its just a BS image thing. They dont really care if it goes faster or not, they just want the IMAGE of a street racer so they do lame things to make their car seem fast including: HUGE Exhaust tip but stock exhaust system, "lowering" their civics, and putting stickers all over the car advertising stuff they dont have under the hood. The worse thing now is these civic and integra drivers that have automatics but when they're on a hill they put it in neutral to let it "roll back" so it looks like they have manual. Jesus! What a disgrace. Next time you see these [asian] losers, tell them to get a life.

Hey, I live in So Cal but there really isn't an asian epidemic or anything. The guys with the cars more often than not really do put on more than stickers and spoilers. Intakes, turbochargers, new exhaust systems, whatever. But they do these things not to be &quot;cool&quot; but instead it's just something they're in to. I've got nothing against it, I mean there's nothing wrong with Honda (that includes Acura). They don't tell you that you only have a p3 600 but you're overclocking it to 800 just to make an &quot;image&quot; for yourself. Hell, they never said anything about your computer so I wouldn't go dissing their cars. And noooooooo, I'm not asian and no I don't drive a rice rocket (actually just the oposite, a camaro). I just don't see what you think is so bad about them and their cars......

though, putting an auto in nuetral to back down a hill to make it look like a stick is pretty |_4/\/\3, I'll give you that

FAQ: Apparently we must live in a different part of orange county, or you must know different people. Just look at that honda you see driving down the street. See the exhaust tip? How many times is it an ACTUAL modified exhaust and not just the tip? Actually a Honda itself is not a bad car...great hp p/ sq in displacement...the problem is the drivers that want to make them &quot;appear&quot; fast. Who cares? I care, obviously, as does the creator of www.riceboypage.com, as well as countless other people. And why? Because those of us who would rather not look like &quot;all-show-no-go&quot; guys are being characterized by the stereotype set by these rice rocket guys. I have seen a 9-second civic, and i have no problem with it. I am quite impressed. But what i am NOT impressed with is the guys who are all full of BS. Those guys who want the image of a street racer because they think its &quot;cool.&quot; Think of it this way: You know the guy who talks on his cell phone in public every chance he gets for hours at a time to 20 different girls because he wants everyone to think he's a ladies man? Then you find out his cell phone isn't even activated and its all BS. Do you respect this guy? Because that's what a riceboy is doing. He's pretending. And thats not exactly the stereotype I want to be identified with. Sure it's 'their car, their life,' but besides being incredibly lame, I am starting to resent the stereotype they are creating. It should be obvious to you that i am asian. Im not anti-asian, im anti-loser. And as far as racist goes....i'm ASIAN damn it! I can say these things because I'm asian! I think you believe that I am prejudiced against asians and hondas. That's not correct. Asians are fine. Hondas are fine. Im prejudiced against losers. Bullshi* artists. &quot;All talk&quot; guys. Even the real hackers who first used the hacker lingo are now looked at as wannabes because no one can tell the difference anymore. Everything has become so saturated with wannabes that even the bona fide are thought of as fake, and the general public views everything associated with this as a joke. For the real hackers, they must feel incredibly angry that the media and wannabes have changed their craft into a joke. And THAT, is what I do NOT want happening to me because of the wannabes who want to look like street racers.
