Let's see......

The Matrix
Ronin
Heat
Austin Powers (both movies)
South Park the Movie
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Armageddon
Deep Impact
Sgt Bilko
The Replacements
Star Trek Insurrection
Space Quest
Three Kings
The Insider
Starship Troopers
and a bunch of others I can't think of off the top of my head

Oh, and just picked up Reservoir Dogs, The Negotiator, and Payback for $30 from OD in their 50% off selloff. Need to start converting my old Laser Disc collection over to DVD some time as well. Gonna be difficult since I have Return of the Jedi on LD, and it might be a while before ole Georgie gets his stuff released on DVD. (kind of ironic that Lucas jumped on the LD bandwagon, but is reluctant to jump on the DVD bandwagon).

I have to sell off most of my dvd collection to pay for school this semester. It will be tough deciding which ones to give up...

Well I have 46 listed at DVD Profiler and another 8 that are on order (some of the ones that don't have a Coll# next to them). And I have had a DVD Player for about a year. :D

Seven Platinum Edition
T2 Ultimate edition
Saving Private Ryan

Snow: Don't bother. Prices in Canada are virtually the same as in the US, after conversion.

sandorski: actually, in most cases, it can be cheaper here after conversion. just buy all your DVDs at future shop - great prices. Example... $26.99 for Se7en Platinum. That means it would need to be less than $18 US for you to get any kind of deal on it.

edit: you guys should see some of the guys over at hometheater forum. some of them have 500+ dvds in their collection! And also $20k+ into their home theaters.

look at this guy... holy sh!t!

I've got about 55 right now. Too bad you missed out on the OD 50% off deal. Matrix is a must. Armageddon is pretty cool. Highlander is by far the worst quality DVD I own. Keep your eyes open for coupons and deals, and you should be able to keep your average cost below $15 per disk.

If you're into anime, and don't feel like sanity is benifiting you a whole lot, get Serial Experiments Lain (aka Lain). It'll leave you questioning alot of things.
