Hey? I've just ventured into the world of DVD with the purchase of a Pioneer region free DVD ROM drive and a 32meg DDR Radeon which should be arriving at my door tomorrow.

I went to a store today to get my first ever DVD (didn't have my mind set on anything), but I came away with three, because they had a buy 2 get 1 free deal, with a pretty good range of titles. I picked up: Jurrasic Park, Apocalypse Now and The Rock. I've already got my eye on several others, but they can wait until I have a bit more cashola 😉

So, how many DVD's do you guys have? What would you recommend?

Cheers!

If you like The Rock then you obviously like Nicholas Cage in which you absolutely must pick up Raising Arizona on dvd. Bottoms down the best Nicholas Cage movie ever.

I have:

<< Cool - are all the Monty Pythons availalbe on DVD? >>

Yes they are and of course they're all great. LOB is the only Criterion unfortunately.

Thanks a lot Dark4ng3l, I'll look out for the ultimate edition.

By the way - how much do you guys pay for a typical DVD over in the states? I've got a friend going to the US soon and I might get him to pick me up some movies if they're cheaper...
