What's for lunch? JESUS LOVING Chick-Fil-A

I had Chick-Fil-A for lunch today. I don't consume it as much as I used to, but it's decent. And while I'm not a religious nut case, I do respect the company for it's willingness to fore go a whole day's worth of revenue for the sake/original reason of Christian Sabbath. Plenty of "Christian" business leaders out there who would never do such a thing.

Not to mention scholarships offered to their employees.

I tried the spicy chicken today. I haven't had Chik-Fil-A in forever.

In Florida our 'combos' include the sandwich, fries, and drink; our 'meals' include sandwich, fries, slaw and drink. Anyway I ordered the meal and was told that the meal here is only fries and drink. Instead of the cole slaw I ordered a spicy deluxe.

When I ate them I thought I was eating the spicy one first, but it was just the regular. It tasted spicier than I remember. I am thinking it gets crossed with the spices in cooking/preparation. I liked it better than the spicy chicken one I had second. It wasn't bad, but the spices didn't gel with the sandwich. I felt it made 'hot' just to be 'hot' and I prefer the foods where the heat is more natural.

It was still a good sandwich. I also like there chicken salad sandwich with some chicken soup.

I wish all you local Chik Fil-A people would stop posting about Chik Fil-A.

it makes me cry that I can't have such glorious chicken.

🙁

pssst.

dude the cashier was never intending to fuck you.

Holy shit you get irate over a free sandwich you practically whored yourself out to promote.

I'd probably do the same thing if I were gay. Since I'm not, I don't give a shit.

well, I'm not gay and I do give a shit about such things (simply because it doesn't effect me directly doesn't make it unimportant); but rumor is that Chik Fil-A has changed their ways.

...that's the idea, anyway. I know the CEO gave a half-assed, non-committal anti-apology regarding the issue, but that's more a reflection of his personal opinion.

The company policy, however, seems to have done a 180 after the backlash, and that's what matters, I think.
