I had Chick-Fil-A for lunch today. I don't consume it as much as I used to, but it's decent. And while I'm not a religious nut case, I do respect the company for it's willingness to fore go a whole day's worth of revenue for the sake/original reason of Christian Sabbath. Plenty of "Christian" business leaders out there who would never do such a thing.
Not to mention scholarships offered to their employees.
I tried the spicy chicken today. I haven't had Chik-Fil-A in forever.
In Florida our 'combos' include the sandwich, fries, and drink; our 'meals' include sandwich, fries, slaw and drink. Anyway I ordered the meal and was told that the meal here is only fries and drink. Instead of the cole slaw I ordered a spicy deluxe.
When I ate them I thought I was eating the spicy one first, but it was just the regular. It tasted spicier than I remember. I am thinking it gets crossed with the spices in cooking/preparation. I liked it better than the spicy chicken one I had second. It wasn't bad, but the spices didn't gel with the sandwich. I felt it made 'hot' just to be 'hot' and I prefer the foods where the heat is more natural.
It was still a good sandwich. I also like there chicken salad sandwich with some chicken soup.
