had chik-fil-a for lunch myself

i lol at the people that wait 20 minutes in the drive through. go inside, get food in 2 minutes.

I don't bother with a sandwich. I get the chicken strips, side salad & diet dr. pepper. With light italian dressing, it's about the healthiest fast food meal you can get.

Bojangles sucks. i ate at one in NC and holy shit they are greasy. i had a puddle of grease on my plate form just from walking from the counter to a table. i had to put a napkin around my soda cup so i could grip it. nasty nasty nasty.

wow...I was just at one in Morrisville and was surprised how not greasy it was.

You had to have eaten somewhere else or are confused...of course it could have been just a bad day.

I ate there each day on the way in as the hotel breakfast wasn't good and it was right next door.

One other thing, I'm kind of annoyed at CFA for coming out with the amazing spicy chicken sandwich, because now I always have to get 2 sandwiches when I go.
 
Took the kids down to the local one down the road last week. Got 2 free meal coupons for having to wait 5 minutes or so for the chicken strips to cook. You wouldn't get that type of service at micky d's.

nope, it was Aug 2009 and i was in NC standing up a new office for my company. i took a pic with my phone and sent it to my wife. i said something like. wow look at all this grease on my plate from 2 pieces of chicken, even had the bojangles cup next to. i had the pic until last month and deleted it. wish i still had it to post it here.

yup. the only chicken sandwich that beats Chik Fil-A's new spicy chicken sandwich is Bojangle's classic chicken filet biscuit. that thing is godly.

and they actually make real biscuits. Unlike those pretenders at Popeyes.

Oh, you're probably confusing that with juice; real, moist chicken--you know, when fried chicken is properly prepared? that dried out tasteless shit you are used to at Popeyes and KFC is not chicken.


and lol--soda cup? you get sweet tea at Bojangles. what complete failure.
 
I had Chick-Fil-A for lunch today. I don't consume it as much as I used to, but it's decent. And while I'm not a religious nut case, I do respect the company for it's willingness to fore go a whole day's worth of revenue for the sake/original reason of Christian Sabbath. Plenty of "Christian" business leaders out there who would never do such a thing.
 
I do like that you can request they grill pretty much anything on the menu. If I ever get the craving (other than Sunday) I usually get the nuggets grilled eat with buffalo sauce. Tasty. The spicy chicken sandwich is awesome as well.
