A rare treat, I bought a grilled chicken sandwich, plain, from KFC on the way home. That with some gatorade and I was good to go. :)

Air for now... I am in a sterile environment atm.

Yesterday, I felt like getting a big hefty, old school hoagie and not some overpriced fancy mini sandwiches at the french bakery I go to. There is a subway (sandwich shop) near there so I went to get a foot long. $8? I kept thinking of the $5 foot long commercial and singing, $8 foot long. Guy asked me "double meat?" I said sure. How is it double meat if they still put a single layer of meat and cheese down? Then my "$5 foot long" was $8 after tax.

Now I remember why I haven't been to a subway "restaurant" in 6+ years. Nothing has changed. Well... they did toast my sandwich now, which made it taste stale instead of toasted like quiznos. I miss the days of working near this great italian shop. They would grab this fresh crusty italian bread and make me a sandwich with quality cold cuts and extra virgin olive oil and balsalmic. Stacked so high I couldn't get my big mouth around it. Getting hungry...

I made skirt steak chili yesterday in the crock pot. Put it in the fridge before I went to bed, and had some for lunch. It was really good, at this point I make my slow cooked stuff the day before on purpose because it's so much better the next day.

What are you doing on ATOT if you don't have $30/day for lunch? :p jk

As of now don't know, maybe philly cheesesteak but will figure it out when I get to the cafeteria.

my ex bro in law used to make fun of me when he was in town for business. he got 15.85 for breakfast, 25 something for lunch and almost 40 for dinner per diem. when i travel i get 30 bucks a day. period. kind of sucks. he took the whole fam out for dinner on his per diem one time.

edit:

after reading this thread im hungry... thanks, atot.
