steak dinner plate from paquito mas. probably try for HI style garlic shrimp tomorrow.

Wednesday was our anniversary; I cooked two 12-oz cold lobster tails, and two 16oz 1" thick ribeyes from the butcher, along with a nice salad and a few sides.

I told my wife I had a surprise for dinner when she got home - she seemed excited and asked, "crab legs?" Damn.

So, tonight is her birthday. 2 1/2 pounds of Alaskan king crab legs, with two 10oz NY strips, and two huge bowls of mixed spring greens with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing. Yum.

This weekend is my birthday - either eggplant parmigiana, else pigs in the blanket (stuffed cabbage). Half my family is Italian - the eggplant is incredible with the family's recipe; the other half of the family is Polish - I've yet to have stuffed cabbage that even compares. And, homemade strawberry cream pie for dessert.

24oz of lobster tails and 32oz of steak for 2 people, plus salad and sides? holy fuck.

Turkey meatballs and homemade sauce simmered in the crock pot all day. Made some zoodles and paired it all with a pumpkin porter.

Dairy Queen double cheeseburger. Their fries are useless, but the burger was actually pretty tasty! Plus a PB Parfait 😀

In fact I had found a box containing several cans of re-fried beans. Enough for 1 can a day for a week!

Unfortunately 350 calories of beans each day doesn't feel very substantial, so I've added filler this time. I cant actually identify/name all the variety of plant fiber/byproduct that went in there, total mass about equal portion to the beans. And some amount of old used oil (was mixed in with most of the plant waste).

Not entirely sure if it tasted better than just the straight beans though. Unfortunately I can't give an exact recipe for this one, so there's not really a way to try it out and compare for yourself. I'll have to figure something else out for tomorrow, so I'll try to make it repeatable.

Made lamb lollipops, baked tater with butter/sour cream/truffle salt/pepper, and Caesar salad.

Tonight's meal will be thick bone-in pork chops that are brined and grilled along with a lemon/asparagus risotto.

Sauteed bok choy and mushrooms with fresh ginger served over rotisserie chicken de costco, a few handfuls of extra fancy mixed nuts de costco and two large organic apples, also de costco.

Obviously you can't read a date, you complete and utter sack of grabastic stupid!

Since you brought it up, real life graboid:

And still somewhat food related 😀

Yeah, the dates are jacked! Just checked!

This forum should just use phpBB. Why pay for this shit?

I went to Chilis on the 5th! It was my birthday. Stupid date says yesterday. There might be an option and Admin can check to resynchronize post dates. I have that option in my forum.

Lucky dogs.
Each dog got about a pound or so of chicken/rice/veggies, mostly chicken, with their dinners tonight. Plus, Rupert got 1/2 a lunch special of General Tso's chicken on top of that. Tomorrow for lunch, there are 3 leftover boneless pork sirloin chops for Rupert and Rudy to share as a snack.
(Hence, what did I have for dinner tonight: sirloin chops, with shake & coating on them, mashed potatoes with some cheddar cheese blended in, and fresh corn.

Ordered from my favorite Chicago food place down the street. Gyro and fried pickles. Wasn't feeling like an Italian beef.
