You can find them all the time for $9k. Just look for the ones with blown apex seals.
If by the fact that you mean chicks like to drive them, you're entirely correct. But it will be one out of a million chance that you ever attract a female human being with a Miata.Originally posted by: manowar821
The miata is insanely tune-able, and it's RWD, the handling is bar-none and it's a chick-magnet.

The RX-7 is very nice and very quick for it's small engine. However, you do need
to keep an eye on it's OIL level as it will use some to lubricate the Apex Seals.
Also do not let a rotary engine Ever Overheat .. If you do it will warp the rotor housing.
A decent rebuilt engine for that car runs about $2,000 plus install

I wouldn't even bother with the rotary... swap in an LSx and call it a day. More power and better fuel economy, whats not to love...

The $$$ for the swap.![]()

The power to weight ratio argument for rotary is bogus. That engine with all it's accessories is actually quite heavy. An RX7 is lighter and better balanced with a LS1 V8.

Out of curiosity, where did you get this information?
