Generally generic RAM will not do CAS2 at it's rated speed (PC133 generally won't do CAS2 at 133, but probably will at 100, etc), but you may get lucky (I got a wonderful stick of PC133 that tolerates CAS2 and a bunch of other tweaks on my KT7 board for $104

). Be sure to back up your data before you do this, as file system hosage may occur.
What you'll want to do is poke around in BIOS for settings dealing with memory timing (I forget exactly how my KT7 board refers to it). There'll be an option for 2 or 3, and 3 will probably be the one it's on.
