niptuck..meh, its almost irrelevant now. it started off good.
csi's gone down the sh*thole as well. ny is horrible. miami is sorta ok just for the cheesiness of horatio caine.

I'd put in another vote for the Stargate series and Doctor Who. The former is just good, modern sci-fi, the latter is particularly interesting since it's almost as much of a comedy as it is a fantasy show (and the Britishisms are easy to get past).

I know you said you think lost "look stupid", and thats exactly what I though before I watched it, but it really is a great show. It ain't gonna hurt you to watch a few episodes and at least give it a chance.
