What's a good site for juicing recipes?

I recently bought a masticating juicer and while I'm finding some recipes just using Google, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some specific sites that are good and target juicing for health? Sifting through Google results can be a pain and can also lead to really annoying sites that use those stupid gray out javascript popups and junk not to mention the risk of landing on a bad site and getting infected (though I run Linux so that's probably very unlikely). Also it's hard to tell what's missinformation and what's not. I'm doing this for health reasons so it's also nice to know what benefits various drinks have. I just want to make sure that whatever I'm reading is a good source and actually proper information.

John from growyourgreens is crazy, but I'd recommend watching this video:

In a nutshell - focus less on pre-specified recipes and just experiment with stuff you can tolerate. My wife started off trying to follow one of those 30-day acclimation to juicing recipes, but we quickly wound up knowing what worked for us and in what proportions.

At this point, most of our juices end up containing at least the following: kale, carrots, spinach, pomegranate, apples.

Came in expecting a steroid thread.

Fresh juice pretty much gives the same result as crack, does that count?

Seriously though, if you juice up 5 carrots & an apple (fresh carrot-apple juice) & chug the whole thing, within a couple minutes you feel like you got a shot of adrenaline, it's amazing!

If you haven't seen the movie watch it "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" Definite eye opener

Two things on that:

1. It was a great video
2. But I don't understand why people just don't take the easy route

I mean, the Fat Loss sticky here outlines everything you need to do. imo, the best diet is the "6 small meals a day" system, because you get to constantly eat, which curbs cravings because you don't get hungry, and you can make really tasty meals that also meet your diet goals for bodybuilding, strength training, etc. - versus killing yourself by going on "juice fasts" etc.

But that's how marketing works - people get sucked in because they don't understand the basics. I know I sure didn't! I thought getting skinny meant going on a diet, working out a lot, etc. instead of just eating lean meats, good carbs, and good fats. Everyone complains about not being able to eat on a diet, but you can really eat like a king if you do it right.

That dude's home farming videos are the bomb tho, he really knows his stuff! I'm inclined to believe that all that veggie stuff works since he has mad high energy haha.

Ya don't get me wrong - I love his videos. Great stuff. Definitely helped in our decision to buy a juicer and helped us discover the nursery we now buy all our trees.

As far as the energy goes, I'll have what he's having

Friendly word of caution: Be careful if jumping into juicing and not eating any food. I tried juicing only to detox and jump start fat loss and by day 3 my organs were in intense pain from trying to detox.

Thanks for all the info, will give me stuff to look over.

I'm doing this mostly for health and not really weight loss (though I probably could shed a few pounds). My biggest culpit is sugar, so trying to cut that down as well. Obviously I have to watch what kind of juices I'm making if I'm trying to cut down on sugar. Some fruits may as well be a soft drink. :p

Also what is this about detox, is this not a real thing? I was not really looking into it myself but I thought it was considered a normal thing that some people may do once in a while to get rid of "junk" in the body.
