What's a good free service to send large files over the internet

megaupload.com and sendspace.com are the two I've used most... both work fine. Are these other ones better so nobody is mentioning these 2?

GetDropBox is the best. You get 2 gigs for free, it syncs up between all your PCs and there's a Public folder you can get a URL directly to any file.

I use it for that all the time.

If you use a referral, you get an extra 250 megs too.
