What brands and styles have you tried? For the longest time, I couldn't wear jeans at all, and I still can't wear most brands. Then "baggy" came into fashion and I can wear Levis 560s. (Even if "baggy" is often a codeword for "snug in the thighs, but actually *can* be put on."

Believe it or not, another brand I can wear is women's jeans from the Gap. That's not as bizarre as you might think; women have proportionately longer legs and they actually have hips, whereas the men's fashion industry is determined to design everything to fit Mister Potatohead (a shapeless blob with stubby, toothpick-sized arms and legs). They are a little higher-waisted, though, so, as always, try before you buy.
HAHAHAHAHA, I'll bet you're just a pasty faced, out of shape little . . . OH, WAIT, that was YOU owning Nik in that pic where it was a toss up which was more impressive, your set-up or your, errrr, set-up! (Runs away and hides).

WTF?

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't think I'm going to go straight to tailoring though. I have one pair of jeans that fit well and I like- they're Nautica. I picked up some 'Urban Pipeline' jeans tonight that are loose enough in the thigh, but are kinda tight on the waist. Kinda the opposite. Weird.

I'm a 38 waist/32 or 34 inseam myself.

I have a 50" chest, 19"+ neck, 28" sleeve, 36" torso and size 16 feet. Don't complain to me about finding clothes that are comfortable ;)

Heck, I'm the second smallest guy in my family.

I'm a 36"-38" waist and have a 34"-36" inseam. I'm 6'4" and have pretty muscular legs from running, biking, and snowboarding... I don't consider myself too abnormal size-wise... I usually end up ordering my clothes online though.

I would check Eddie Bauer. They usually have some decent fits in larger sizes. Also, check JC Penny, AE, etc... You can sometimes get some decent sales on clearance stuff too from the odd sizes. I usually pay about $15-35 for a pair of pants depending on style and materials.

Come ON, he only has a 38 inch waist. You need to up to at least 40 inches to be a "fatty" with a 34 inch inseam.

Randy River, sells really baggy jeans. I got a pair as a gift, and the legs were 20" big, on a size 32 waist. Not really my style, but if you like baggy pants, that's probably the way to go.

Abercrombie is a bit expensive for Fat Clothes.

Unless he plans on staying a fatty.

...

I never thought I'd find someone 2" taller than me -- who was over 40lb lighter.

:Q

I wear either 30x32 or 32x32..never really had a problem finding pants to fit (6' @ 140lb).

Haha I love your cliffs notes. I have problems buying pants too. Pants that fit my waist are always way too long because I'm short. I always have to get them hemmed.

Its harder for a really tall thin guy.

outlet stores usualy have plenty fatty size jeans.
On the other hand, I can never find any normal size jeans in the outlet.
