What's a fair way for roomates to decide rooms?

Well guys as the title says my 3 roomates and I will be moving tomorrow. After getting screwed this year I get first dibs so I know what room I want. But, my 2 roomates are trying to figure out a fair way to decide who gets second choice (our other roomate is just taking what room is left). So im asking people for some ideas. We were thinking a normal coin flip or rock paper scissors but I kind of want my one friend to have a slight edge over the other. All input is appreciated and might just get interesting.

YES I AM LOOKING FOR A FAIR WAY TO CHEAP AND THE RENT IS BY SEMESTER AND ITS DIVIDED EVENLY. no room is connected to a bathroom.. i will create a picture and post it.

I did a coin flip w/ my roomie the first year... played 3 rounds of golf the second (best of 3).... and played 5 games of world series baseball on xbox the 3rd year to see who gets which room. All of them worked out well, but my best chance was the coin flip.

If a room is worth more to one of them then they should have to pay slightly more for that room (20 or 30 dollars a month or whatever).

2 or 3 bedroom?

If 2, whoever gets their own room pays more.
If 3 then I guess you draw straws or something.

Divide rent proportinally based on square footage. See how much people are willing to pay.

Agreed. That way the person who wants it most gets it, and the person who didn't, saves on rent.

make it interesting...scavenger hunt...or who can get adate with the ugliest/prettiest woman....or how about farting belching contest...or who is willing to do the most outrageous thing to get the room...or let ATOT decide who gets the room based solely on their picture throw up a poll

you can let all of ATOT be the impartial judge to any of these contests...

Thats what I did in my last roommate situation and within 3 months of a 12 month lease he was bitching and crying how he "needed" the bigger room.

Moral of the story, roommates suck!
