Repeal term limits for presidency after becoming drunk with power, allow Hawaii to decide if they want to stay under the jurisdiction of the USA, or become their own sovereign nation again, tell Puerto Rico that you're not under USA rule anymore, wage war with Texas, go down in history as one of the most awesome presidents ever.

Championing a pair of constitutional amendments to stipulate that (1) individual rights defined in the Constitution do NOT apply to corporations, PACs, unions, and other organizations, but only to people, and (2) money is NOT speech protected by the First Amendment.

These along with an amendment abolishing of lobbying of Congress of all kinds. If a Congressman/woman or Senator takes $1 or more in campaign donations or gifts from a corporation, they do so, they are immediately expelled from Congress/Senate and lose their pensions and guaranteed insurance.

All votes will be open in both houses, all members of all commissions, especially those that include outsiders will be held in the open.

No more federal monies will be used to fund financial institutions. If you are unable to manage your business properly, go under, someone else will buy the assets and they will do it instead.

CEO pay cannot exceed 50x that of the average employee salary within their company. If you want a booming economy, make it so that the majority are able to actually purchase things by evening the pay scales. If we are going to become a consumer driven economy, it only makes sense that consumers be able to pay for items without leveraging themselves to death which results in defaults.

Also, no bank is allowed to triple dip when someone loses their home. They will be forced to choose two of the following:

1. Filing a PMI claim (if applicable)
2. Going after the defaultee in court for a civil judgment
3. Taking a tax write off for the loss
4. Reporting to the credit agencies

Currently, the bank gets to take the property, go after the person for the deficiency, collect PMI, hit the person's credit, take the write off and still gets to resell the property.

The person that lost their home? They get their credit ruined, possible judgment, tax implications of a 1099 for "income" earned on the sale of the house, stigmatized and forced to continue to have to pay taxes that are given to the banks as interest free loans!

Now, before all of your righteous, holier than though, perfect human specimens think that I am saying that the person shouldn't be held responsible for taking on a loan that they couldn't handle and defaulting as a result, I'm not. But the complete lopsided nature of the process where 10 bad things happen as a result of it to the homeowner/defaultee while the banks are almost rewarded for their stupidity in either making a loan that wasn't wise or buying up loans without due diligence.

1) Shoot anyone in the back on back of the head who ever is serving a life sentence.
2)Bribing is felony
3)Stop the closing of Guantanamo
4)Fire all biased assholes in the media(Olbermann)
5)not give rights to gays

and last but not least

6)Shoot on sight if you are seen driving a prius.

1. The right to defend your person or property with any deadly force that can be reasonably applied without damaging the person or property of another.
2. Public execution (hanging and firing squad are fine) for any person in an elected public office using it for illegal purposes.
3. Define the age of adulthood as thirteen.
4. A gradual release of all non-violent criminals, execution of most sexual criminals (eighteen year olds guilty of breaking age of consent laws get a pass) and murderers. Basically, legalization of anything that harms only oneself.
5. End all public school programs not directly related to math, the sciences, English, and US government. Replace all arts, PE, etc with various trades.
6. End both wars, the military welfare state, and most (if not all) non-nuclear military R&D. Russia and China aren't going to actually use the latest and greatest fighter jets or vessels against us with MADD on both our sides.
7. Gradually repeal current healthcare and medicare laws, starting with Obama's working backwards.
8. Strongly encourage immigrants knowledgeable in the sciences and engineering to move here.
9. Strongly encourage and dignify the concept of guilt and suicide. I think it is beautiful how humans have evolved to become introspective, and moreover, how Darwin operates in the minds of the frail. A populace that inflicts their own punishment fairly is one that hardly even needs government. The only reason this one is last is because it's unfortunately less feasible.

I would run on a socially liberal fiscally conservative republican platform like Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt. I would campaign on arts and green initiatives if the economy rebounds or if current climates continue I would advocate for cutting costs and balancing the budget first year or I would quit. Before we can worry about the long term debt we need to first balance the budget with at least a 500 billion dollar surplus to pay off interest and apply principle to the debt within 2 years.
Slash military spending immediately with the closing of overseas bases unless partners like South Korea and Japan pay for the entire footprint or deliver favorable trade conditions with strong verifiable economic impact.

I would shrink the nuclear submarine fleet to 20 percent size-still twice as large as any other world power with emphasis on speed and technology instead of size and nuclear power... I would shrink the military to half its current size but with 1000 percent increases in size of unmammed drones and advance tech like the link below..

http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/pw_singer_on_robots_of_war.html

I would talk about space and the commercial opportunities that will present themselves when viable commerce can exist since there will inevitably be logistically profitable market penetration for who gets there first...I would partner with established technological giants like intel and google to explore private sector innovation with governmental finance to enhance Darpa and infuse talent from the private sector.

Basically I would say its ok for conservatives to be socially liberal.. ...real big tent

1) End foreign wars. Close at least 50% of foreign military bases.
2) What has been made can be unmade. SS and Medic*** need to be cut back.
3) DoD takes a 25% budget cut minimum - with the closed bases and ended wars, that should be easy.
4) The healthcare bill must be repealed.
5) The budget must be balanced or show surplus each year.
6) No anonymous additions or edits to bills.
7) Term limits for Congress.
8) Full application of the Fourteenth as pertains to the Second.
9) Corruption in Congress is treason; treason is punishable by death.

If elected to Congress:
This! But then I'd get to Washington, get corrupted and realize none of this is possible and that I'm making a nice salary with great benefits and perks and realize I won't get re-elected if I rock the boat. Then I'd get re-elected many times and turn into a career politician whose job is to not rock the boat because then I wouldn't get re-elected..

If elected to President:
Make lots of good promises but realize I can't get anything done with all the career politicians in congress...

A Constitutional amendment that requires a two thirds majority to pass any tax increases AND requires a balanced budget.

Best way to balance budget would be to require current fiscal year spending to be the same as the most recent years fiscal revenue, with exceptions being made in years with negative revenue grow (aka you would never have to shrink the budget during poor economic times)

Sooo... sex with 13 year olds?

That wasn't my intent (I just want to reduce the dependence-causing effects of childhood), but considering that most/all are capable of reproduction by that age, I don't see it as a terrible problem. Actually, age of consent is currently a state matter anyways, so it shouldn't make a difference.

1. Close all foreign bases. And disband army since we have nukes. Save about 300 Billion.
2. Close borders to trade with all police state slave nations. Save about 1 trillion since everyone would have a job and not be on public assistance.
3. Institute taxes similar to Eisenhower, the rich can pay for selling out America and straddling us with debt to their benefit.
4. Seize all banks like PCA calls for and jail fraudsters who are worse than Maddoff but protected. Next sell them to mutual funds and retirement accounts they ripped off.
5. No lobbyists and public funding of campaigns.
6. Real free market. No more no bids, bailouts, and other goodies for well connected.
7. Expand SBA 10x.
8. Loans must have skin in game. all loans at least 20% down or collateral.
9. Separate investment banking form commercial.
10. Give all illegals amnesty and jail all the packing house CEOs and other losers who cheated bringing them here so they don;t have to pay Americans/SS or otherwise skirt the system.
11. Dismantle corn/sugar and other farm subsidies driving poor nations like mexico into ground.
12. Build 75 nuke plants, fund 1 trillion worth of infrastructure of quick swap batteries, stations and ecars, to rid ourselves of Mulla's and fundis once and for all. Let them slink back in their tents where they belong before accident of geology.

Pretty good but high speed rail sucks ass. we are Americans, as such we ride on our own, with our 200MPH electric cars if I had my way.

Solar panels use a lot of oil to produce, Needs to be looked at. As long as we buy none from fundis to fund jihad and madrassas I'm down with that.

NO can reconstruct itself with jobs. I say build iphones in Slidel instead of China.

I'd go along with your post. My only comment is on your bail out. Either we ensure that no financial institution becomes to big to fail otherwise we will have to bail them out.

Kick out the illegals. Punish Americans who exploit them. Set up an armed wall. Declare drug running into/out of the country to be treason. Execute any criminals convicted of that crime.

No way in hell I'd win. Way too may Democrats & Republicans like illegal aliens, though for different reasons.
Not to mention I'd have thousands of death threats and realistically I think some of them might try to follow through. And if the president of Mexico's words are any indication, he'd probably declare war on America because he needs his 10 million plants to keep money flowing into his country.

Step 2:
Disband most of the current Nanny laws and limit states ability to make any laws "for the good of the general public".
It will be rough for a year or so, but after all the idiots get themselves killed, the rest of us will be much better off.

Close most of the tax loopholes and simplify the tax system in general. Push for flat 20% federal and 10% state tax. Kill all the little incidental fees and taxes.

Force basic firearms safety training into public schools. Actually, theres about a hundred things I'd need to do to schools. Better leave that for later.

dramatically cut defense spending, pulling out of Iraq/Afghanistan, and investing the savings into infrastructure, reducing the deficit, and setting up a public health care option.

I'd also propose building a tunnel from the Mexican border to the Canadian border, so that central and southern american immigrants can go there instead. at the end of the tunnel, they'll be given a space heater and a tim horton's gift card.
