This is the new right wing meme, suddenly we love statistics! Let's ignore the mess Obama had to deal with when he took office, and let's focus on meaningless historical data instead of what a president can actually impact, say a huge crisis, versus an 18 trillion dollar economy where he has almost no impact.

We're about due for a recession though.

We're almost 10 trillion dollars further in debt. Don't you recall the "recovery summer" touted by the Obama administration in 2010? Yeah, the one that never happened?

If you really cared about the economy (you don't) then Trump would've been the absolute last candidate to vote for.

Ergo, add $7 trillion dollars more in debt with your kiddie president. Obama got you out of the GFC by spending, Trump will get you into another GFC.

It's tough to reason with people that live in a world fabricated within their minds based on huge doses of fantasy in which everyone in the world loves one another and wishes nothing but the best for their fellow man. A world where everyone gets along and shares everything they have.

Somehow they think that if a nation adopts that posture that the world will respond in kind. They are oblivious to the fact than human beings are still tribal people with very strong desires for both conquest and survival. We're doing a fairly good job dealing with the conquest part (radical Islam is the exception) but the survival aspect has us just one disaster away from anarchy.

Until mankind is exploring other planets wearing funny clothing and not requiring any form of compensation, we're all essentially still at war with each other and defense is highly important. The cart, it can't come before the horse.

Oh, and even in that utopian scenario, defense will still be highly important because the little green men we encounter may be having a bad day.

Brother we both know that politicians will say anything to get elected irrespective of their party affiliation. I watched snippet of an interview with the Washington Post where Trump on this, which was included in a Stephen Colbert skit where Donald was asked this question, and he actually stated that he would tell Americans when it was great again. Bloomberg has an article up on his promises vs reality and the business climate in this country will not produce the effect that the working poor believe he can deliver. Trump doesn't want to increase the minimum wage either so unless they go to school they are going to be trapped at the lower wage bracket. The Washington Post has a list of his campaign promises just in case anyone wishes to keep track of them all. He wants to gut the Department of Education but education is what this country needs to propel our workers into this century and beyond. While the rest of the world is getting smarter our people are dumbing down.

They're probably male prostitutes.😱😛 Now if Trump actually removes us form these global trade agreements that are allowing companies to cheaply offshore then the landscape of our employment for the uneducated will change for the better. As much as I hate to admit it I'll support him for another term if he can do this.

I would like to see the passage and signing of the Hearing Protection Act, a nice pro-gun justice confirmed to the supreme court, and so many new pro-gun bills and executive orders shoved down the throat of Bloomberg, the snowflakes at moms demand action and the brady campaign so they choke. I am hoping that at the very least, the gun control movement gets set back several decades at minimum.
