You're walking down a dark alley at night. You come to a dumpster and you see bin Laden sleeping next to it. What would you do?

I'd try to explain to Osama that the "infidel" is not something to fear or wage jihad against, but rather to embrace. As we all well know, God (or Allah in this case) actively designed the infidel to be the way he is.

I would explain patiently that the infidel did not evolve randomly into a creature that wished to occupy their lands, kill their innocents and steal their treasure, but rather God (or again, Allah in this case) wished it to be so and so it was.

Finally, I would connect the dots and explain that by fighting the infidel, Osama was effectively fighting God, and that was a battle he could never win.

Police, not for the obvious reason (I think I could take him ), but because I think the best way to deal with the "jihad" type is arrest, public trial, and jail/death row. He's a criminal, that's how we should treat him. Maybe he's killed a lot of people, but that just makes him a worse criminal, no need to elevate him.
