What would you do with an extra 8k?

3) Deposit into a "high" yield savings account

Investing it would be pretty fun to me...but I'm sure we've different ideas of what fun is

hm..8k is a lot of money...i'd probably split it up and buy a new laptop, go on a mini shopping spree at the mall (mmm...shoes), then put the rest in the bank.

I'd take a vacation but I wouldn't be able to take any days off work..so i might as well just save the money for later.

I would probably pay off my tractor. I think *you* should pay off any debts you have or if you have none, invest it.
