It's decoding quality is sub par and its equalizer is less than optimal.

And you can't change the speed of the songs.

The only reason winamp 3 plays video is because AOL wants to compete with WMP.

Eh, it's what I've used for for the last 6 years or something. I've got a version of 2.61 burned on several CD's so I never loose it. Anything that is 3.XX or higher is too damn bloated.

I got hardware eq (santa cruz)

can't say the same about others but I'd never use any eq. besides, coolplayer is't th eonly alt mp3 player out there. if you looked there are tens of these around.
