What would someone look like if they only did 100 pull ups a day and ate right?

I was afraid of that. I've been doing pull ups and mat pilates so my arms look small (to me) in comparison to my chest/upper torso. I noticed this the other day when I was trying on suits.

So I looked up Adam Ondra on google image search and I think best case scenario is I end up looking like Dani Andrada in the below picture. decent torso but no arms.

You won't get any pec work, and very little bicep work doing just pullups. Pretty much just lats and shoulders. And with a finger board, it's tough to do chinups ('reverse pullups'). Unless you're specifically doing finger work for rock climbing, you'd probably be better served by a pullup bar.

I don't even climb. I just have the board because it was easier to install than bolt on pull up bar and I heard stories of the door way ones warping the frame.

When I do the pull ups I feel something in my upper pecs, just under the collar bone and mid pec when I hit the top of the pullup. I'm not to crazy about building pecs anyway

I can do chin ups but they're weird since the top of the door frame is in the way so I have to lean back.

I think I'll add in Concentration curls 2X a week for 4 sets of 10. to my workout to take care of bicep

you wouldn't have a build like the andrada guy if you did a 1,000 pullups a day, took gear, ate right and every star in the universe aligned

on which I do 40-50 pull ups a day. 5X a week. I also do other exercises, but they're a pain in the ass, so I was wondering what someone would look like if they only did 100 pull ups a day and ate right.

However, you need to include some squatting exercises. Even if its basic "take a ball and squat against the wall" using body weight or random heavy crap you find around the house. Hill sprints with weighted vests or "backpacks filled with heavy stuff" are also a cheap ways to keep your legs strong.

I actually think the guy is in pretty good shape for only doing pull ups and chin ups. I have the same frame as him so if I can get to the last picture on the right by only working out for 30 minutes a day I'll take it over having to move heavy ass weights.

Like ronnie coleman says: Everyone wants to be a body builder, but no one wants to life this heavy ass weight.

Push ups?

Hindu push ups (with correct breath in and out at the right time in the exercise, which a lot of people don't do) and mat pilates. 40 minutes 4X a week

This guy only does chins and pullups (weighted), results are good. There's some chest development as well.

I recently discovered I can't do squats. I was doing 100 body weight squats a day and my right hip always felt loose, so I stopped and it went away. I might look for something else to work out my legs.

Hip feels loose? Describe more. You may get a good upper body from calisthenics, but your legs will look puny still. Have you tried doing lunges?

If you are trying one of those 100 squat per day programs, inexperience and poor form will result in discomfort.

Just my right hip. It doesn't hurt but if feels like when I walk around it swings easier. Like a knob on a faucet some are tight and hard to turn and some are loose and really easy to turn. This is loose in a bad way like it makes me feel like I shouldn't be messing with it or else it might give away.

I tried doing lunges a few years back but I had a hard time keeping my front knee behind my toes. I can try to do them again since I'm not doing squats. Any recommendations to get better form at this?

I don't know if my form is good or not, but I keep my back straight and my knees behind my toes at all times. I don't have a big mirror to check myself. I did notice that sometimes when I squat a little more weight gets put on my right side, so maybe that is part of why my feels loose, but people do 1 leg squats so why should leaning slightly to one side make a difference?

I welcome all constructive advice for ideas to work legs at home. I have not so great knees (fell from fairly high up when I was in college) and I'm worried about my hip. Especially the ligament that holds the ball and socket part of the hip together.

Eek... Okay well I'm not you so I can't "Feel" what that's like, but I'd honestly go get an MRI. You'll need a referral obviously.

Instead of doing the "walking" lunge, where balance and other issues can cause it to be hard.. Just do them stationary. Start out with your feet already at the proper distance apart, and just kind of, "dip" your rear knee straight down. Look this up on youtube, you'll find helpful videos and proper form there. I actually prefer to do it this way.

Hit all of your muscle groups. Pull up/chin ups are great. Along with everything else.

Also: add weight to any bodyweight exercise.
