Would you guys demand your government to support Cuba if China decided to invade it?

We probably would. Monroe Doctrine.
Where were the US in the Falklands War?

um. That's not Latin America, which is defined as essentially the islands and countries near the border of North and South America. Argentina is very southern South America.

Exactly, that war was a European war. Evidenced by all the Limeys that live Patagonia proper.

Er, the issue was basically that england wasn't trying to establish a new colony or conquer anything in SA, just protect islands that ere already theirs. AFAIK, we've always been okay with that.

The answer to Canada is pretty obvious: NATO

In Mexico's case, the situation would have to be pretty bad for us to prefer the Chinese there instead of doing something ourselves.

This reminds me of the time when I was learning how to play Age of Empires II. I amassed a ton of infantry and sent them all towards my opponent's base with wartime glee. I was so certain that I was going to crush them. Then I saw they had walls. I was like, "Pfffffttttt... whatever. Walls." I ordered my men to attack it down. The wall's health bar was going down about 1% a minute. And in the meantime my soldiers were being slaughtered by cannon towers. My entire game's effort was decimated in about 1 minute. I obviously didn't know about siege weapons at that point yet.

I don't know why that reminds me of this thread, but it does.

that's funny. i can totally picture you getting owned. also, in a more specific response to OP's question. Sino-US relationship is probably the most important bilateral relationship on the planet today. I couldn't even fathom how you came up with such a question.
