If Gore wins, at least half of the military will probably quit. The latest slap in the face is the Democrats' aggressive move to - horror of horrors - disenfranchise the military in Florida. [Republican rant on] I don't get it. How come Democrats consider it such an anathema to "disenfranchise" stupid and/or illiterate people who can't follow five simple ballot instructions or even ask for help, but have no problems whatsoever writing five page how-to memos on how to disenfranchise members of the military? In fact, the next time I vote, I think I'll take in a red marker, make multiple marks on the punch card ballot, and then sue the Supervisor of Elections to force a human to read the card to determine my intent [/Republican rant off].
So, I'd consider moving to another country. Clinton had charm to veneer his lack of management skills. Gore obviously is lacking in that department, and I don't expect four years of Gore would be healthy for the country. Why not stay and advocate my beliefs? How can you have a discourse with a party (Democrats) that consists of people that don't even share the same language and vocabulary you do? Besides, half of Hollywood said they'd leave the country if Bush won, so isn't that an option for Bush supporters? That's actually another reason I hope Bush wins. If we're lucky, maybe Rosie O'Donnell and her ilk would move someplace as tolerant as they are - say, Iraq.
You probably tell something just jumped on my last raw nerve.
